Summary: This is a friendly no hassle dealership that really puts the client first. I am very happy with my new bike purchase and came away with nothing but positive feelings. For due diligence, I did visit three different Harley dealerships in total in the purchase journey, and Woodstock was the best experience by far. Shout out to Dan in sales and Fred in finance - they were absolute professionals.
Additional color: I was looking at bikes at Woodstock for probably three years before I purchased. Initially I was interested in a used bike they had on the floor, a Triumph, as my first motorcycle. They were absolutely patient with me, going so far as to offering to practice on the bike until I felt confident. In the end, I decided my first bike should be as beginner friendly as possible. So I purchased a used Ninja400 elsewhere. After riding for a little over a year, I had figured out what I wanted for my next bike - and most of the things I did not like about the Ninja. To be honest, I was not considering a Harley at all. (In a separate bike review I will go into all of those reasons). Yet, over the time I had the Ninja I kept stopping in at Woodstock to talk bikes, accessories, etc. Very, very friendly folks. In the end, I felt like I should give Harley a shot before I purchased. The result was the purchase in November of a Nightster Special in blue. I absolutely love it, and will post a full review when I get to 1,000 miles, which will be soon. Regarding Woodstock, the whole experience was so candid and friendly. I told them upfront I was not buying that day, and they respected that. I learned so much about the new revolution max engines and the thinking that went in to the new Nightster. And when I say honest, they were honest- including the flaws on the bike! Meanwhile, I am sure you have heard or experienced stories of Harley dealerships - I ran into behavior I did not love at the other two dealerships. I did not have those issues with Woodstock. We went through every cost and charge and they helped me out wherever they could, including but not only manufacturer incentives from Harley for purchasing late in the year. My only suggestion is to make sure you speak with Dan or one of the other guys on the floor - they have access to way more bikes than you see initially on the floor.
Nice friendly staff and beautiful area. We rode up from Queens NYC and my pal Giancarlo ended up buying a Tbag. Thanks Jim for your assistance and suggestions. We shall be back when the weather is more cooperative.
Harley Davidson is one of the coolest organizations I’ve ever been a part of. What’s strange is, it took me 65 years to discover….Seriously…Don’t wait so long!
Woodstock Harley is a very “comfortable” place. The perfect blend of Attention, and freedom to leisurely browse. It really is all good 👍 …
Its a must go to. The village is incredible. Mountains are spectacular. The shop is really nice, huge selection of Harley merchandise and the real deal. I was just stopping in for a shirt, and stayed for over an hour.
Nice place. Customer service was extremely nice. The associate there Lisa was super helpful and friendly.
Really nice, clean place! From the first time I walked through their door, to the second I rode off the lot with my new Low Rider S they've been treating me like family. They're very friendly to me every time I stop in. Everyone here is very nice, helpful and a pleasure to work with. They didn't make me feel pressured into anything and they were very helpful in determining what bike is best for me. Their test ride course is awesome too! Lets you really get to know the bike you're riding. Definitely check them out!
I trusted in this store and all I received was disappointment. Asked to have my directionals repaired. I brought some new parts. 5 weeks and 3-4 calls later, I'm guessing 3ish hours labor, and some backordered parts, I'm guessing because I didnt receive an itemized bill. I got less than half of what I asked for. Some of what I didn't ask for and pushed out the door. They didn't do some of what I asked for. And I'm finally, after 6 weeks getting some of the parts I asked for.
I know It's an old bike.
If they didn't want to work on it, they should have done what Maroneys harley did. Tell me they won't work on it.
Total waist of my time and money.
Went to tent sale today and found some bargains on shirts and sweatshirts! Buy one get 2nd for 50% off! Tanks $5 off!
